The collage It started with the Sunflowers, which tells the story of the ear incident involving Vincent van Gogh and Paul Gauguin at a glance – and to which many different works have been dedicated as an explanation, see the IP Universe – has been reproduced on An international Dutch stamp. This rare collector’s item is set in a special, handmade wooden Baroque frame in gold colour. It is due to be offered for sale through an auction house in the future, possibly in 2026 or 2027.
