Over the past 11 years (2015-2026), I have visually interpreted many research findings as an ecosystem based on a single hypothesis and conclusion. This makes my work a curated art object interspersed with annotated productions. It has become a major multimedia art project with an artistic intention rooted in journalistic research, originality, and social and historical relevance, featuring a history of presentations, documentation and exhibitions in museums and church buildings where the public could view it. All my creations are windows onto the same grand narrative.
I’d like to put it in a single sentence: Paul Gauguin deserves a more prominent place in the story than he has been given so far.
My IP Universe (Intellectual Property Universe) consists of:
1. NFTs, collages, and PDF descriptions accompanying each NFT from 2022 onwards on OpenSea.io, featuring original video clips on the YouTube channel ‘It’s the Art, my Dear’;
2. My own VR Museum dedicated to the collage as the ear incident in Arles in 1888, presented as a single collection, and can be seen on this website;
3. My documentary entitled ‘Laat tekening en schilderijen vertellen’ (Let drawings and paintings tell), produced in 2024. Various clips from the documentary feature in the episodes on the YouTube channel ‘It’s the Art, my Dear’. This documentary was submitted to IDFA 2025;
4. Several exhibitions of my study sketches based on drawings by Van Gogh and Gauguin from 2022 onwards. Exhibitions in Roosendaal, Oudenbosch, Steenbergen and Etten-Leur, held in museums and church buildings. The exhibition with title ‘Vincent van Gogh and Paul Gauguin drew their truth’ was blessed in 2025 by Father Klemens Hayon SVD at St Joseph’s Church in Roosendaal;
5. My Dutch film script entitled ‘Kunstcode Gekraakt’ (Art code cracked) which I wrote and which was assessed by the jury of the Visser Neerlandia Prize 2025. This script features several works by Van Gogh and Gauguin, and Henri Matisse’s La Pastorale, which is linked to the overarching narrative of Van Gogh and Gauguin and was stolen by the Paris Spiderman on 20 May 2010 from the Museum of Fine Arts in Paris, is eventually recovered. The jury’s verdict: A screenplay in which all the elements of a thriller are brought to life, with ‘art’ serving as the central theme of the genre. Following an opening that immediately sets the scene, the film unfolds as a skilfully told story;
6. My annotated version of the Lost Arles Sketchbook, which was criticised in 2016 regarding its authenticity, but which, according to my research data, contains many details pointing to genuine Vincent van Gogh drawings. Each edition in NL, EN, FR and DE will include my findings, explanations and (literary) sources. This collection, which contains all the translations, consists of a rarity with my handwritten notes;
7. My present annotated Dutch translation of Paul Gauguin’s Avant et Après 1903, to be completed in 2027 and presented worldwide. Based on this translation, which includes allegorical and literary references combined with Gauguin’s thought patterns and his network, such as the Pont-Aven school and the spiritual and religious developments of the late 19th century surrounding the Theosophy of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and others, will provide clear insights into how veiled, concealed and enigmatic Paul Gauguin’s own narrative is, and how art critics less familiar with his work understood this and brought it to the surface. This Dutch translation, complete with notes, literary references and explanations, is being submitted for the Loep 2027 or 2028 award to the VVOJ in the Netherlands;
8. My own YouTube channel, ‘It’s the Art, my Dear’, where I personally highlight details and teach, sharing news and revelations.
9. Song lyrics that I write and which are registered with Buma Stemra in the Netherlands, featuring storylines based on my research findings. The lyrics in the song were written by me on the findings of investigative journalism and form the core of this track. The story takes precedence. The AI-generated music serves to support my story, in this way, through my lyrics, written by me as a human being to tell a huge story. You can read a detailed explanation on YouTube of how I use AI purely as a tool to support my work, in a responsible and transparent manner that adheres to the ethical codes I was educated in;
10. Collectors’ items such as the gold candle featuring Van Gogh’s sunflowers in an NFT Box, the Mysterious Lucky Pig in Fauvist colours with gemstones, and the unique stamps featuring the NFT collage It started with the Sunflowers in a handmade wooden Baroque frame. These collectors’ items are created for sale to continue supporting my work;
11. In my conclusion, based on two hypotheses developed over a journey that has now lasted some 11 years, the significant concept of HUMAN AI emerges, embodying Altruism and Integrity as a source of hope for humanity. Together with technical AI, or artificial intelligence, HUMAN AI forms the key guiding principle for life, and details of this can be found in the drawings and paintings. This is something I have personally encountered. I developed HUMAN AI based on my research data and conclusions.
A special episode will be produced on this IP Universe in June/July 2026 on my YouTube channel It’s the Art, my Dear. My IP Universe provides a detailed account of the project as a cohesive whole and functions as an ecosystem centred around the NFT collage It started with the Sunflowers.
This SPECIAL EPISODE IP UNIVERSE will serve as the main GATEWAY to my research, and the SHORTS published alongside it will act as SIGNPOSTS leading to this gateway. Enjoy, marvel, be fascinated and embrace it, for HUMAN AI is intended for every person on this Earth. The narrative in the artworks of Van Gogh and Gauguin leads to this GREAT TREASURE.
